Safety and Compliance Policy

The Leadership team and everyone at Plane Tech AD are committed to the effective management of Safety and Compliance. We recognise safety as a prime consideration and want to maintain the highest levels of Safety and Compliance performance at all times. It is the responsibility of all of us to ensure we fully understand the Safety and Compliance policy.

The following statements constitute Plane Tech AD’s operational Safety and Compliance policy.

1. All levels of management and all employees are accountable for maintaining Safety and Compliance, including preventing accidents and cases of work-related ill health by managing the health and safety risks in the workplace;

2. Safety and Compliance Management is integral to our operation and will be resourced accordingly;

3. The organisation shall provide clear instructions and information, and adequate training, to ensure employees arecompetent to do their work and contribute to the Safety and Compliance Management System (SCMS);

4. Hazard identification and risk management processes have been established in order to eliminate or mitigate safety risks to an acceptable level and the organisation shall engage and consult with employees on day-to-day health and safety conditions;

5. The organisation will continue to improve its „Just Culture “, where all employees are encouraged and responsible for safety reporting without fear of reprisal;

6. The organisation shall continue to apply and improve its awareness of human factors, through continuation training programs for all the Organisation’s staff;

7. Systems will be designed to optimise performance, but recognising potential for human error and at-risk behaviour, with all employees accountable for acting in a safe manner;

8. Recklessness, deliberate or wilful disregard of regulations or procedures will not be tolerated and will be managed in accordance with the disciplinary policy;

9. All regulations should be complied with and, wherever possible, exceeded;

10. All staff shall assist and cooperate with compliance monitoring auditors and safety investigators;

11. Continuous improvement will be facilitated by measuring our safety performance against realistically defined safety performance targets and implementing effective actions;

12. The organisation will work collaboratively with our external suppliers and contracted services providers to help achieve our safety targets;

13. All levels of management and all employees shall acknowledge our environmental responsibilities so that we can effectively prevent pollution to air, land and water by managing and minimising waste and carbon emissions;

14. The organisation shall not reduce safety standards to satisfy commercial imperatives;

15. The organisation shall implement measures to perform maintenance correctly the first time.

1. Comprehensively understand the safety risks in our operation and continuously take action to mitigate or eliminate them.

2. Embed and integrate a generative safety culture throughout the business.

3. Continually improve the effectiveness of safety management.
